KSVR will air Immigrant Experiences on Thursday, May 17, during the station's Skagit Talks show at 5 p.m.

Immigrant Experiences will feature English As A Second Language (ESL) students from SVC instructor Stephanie Machlin's class. Their experiences as new immigrants to the United States will be shared.

Stuarto Glasser, a long-time volunteer and contributor to KSVR and the Cardinal Newspaper, will serve as producer for Immigrant Experiences. The show is the second to be aired about the lives of ESL students in Machlin's class. The first was titled Immigrant Dreams, and included students from Mexico, Guatemala, Russia and Vietnam.

Help bring back the streaming of KSVR-FM!

The live streaming of KSVR-FM is no longer offered, unfortunately.

Streaming our broadcast has become an expensive add-on to the service of KSVR, and we need your help to bring this service back to restore our radio programming on the internet.

Total costs now exceed $1,833 per year. The on-line listening community needs the support of business sponsors, and member-listeners willing to underwrite the costs.

You can help restore the stream by donating on line, and checking the box that states your contribution is to support the webstream.

Please contact Rip Robbins for information on how you could be recognized for supporting this public service.
